The trek begins with an early morning departure at 1:00-2:00 AM, allowing you to witness the spectacular sunrise from the Senaru Crater Rim. The ascent may be steep and stony, but the panoramic views of Mount Rinjani and the surrounding landscape make the effort worthwhile.
Once you reach the crater rim, you’ll have a chance to rest and take in the mesmerizing scenery, including:
